Education: Attended Henry Ford Community College, Wayne State University. Graduated from Specs Howard School of Media Arts
Employment/Military Record: I began my career in radio in 1980. I worked at stations in Indiana and Southern Michigan before coming to WTCM FM in 1984. My 34 years doing mornings at the same station...WTCM, is the record for longest running morning show. I also hosted a weekly segment on the local CBS affiliate WWTV, Jack's Journal. I traveled the region telling the stories of the people who live and work here. There was also my bi-monthly column in Country Lines Magazine. I have spent many years getting to know the people of the North.
Community Activities: Member of a community corrections board; I have served on many committees over the years. Some of the notables, Charter member of a Silent Observer Board. Chaired a local July 4th Celebration committee. 20 plus years planning and organizing Memorial Day Services. I coached High School Softball for 12 years. I have volunteered with Hospice of Michigan and work with Child and Family Services of Northwest Michigan. Also working with charitable efforts with my church, I am Chaplin for The Sons of the American Legion Squadron Post 531 Copemish.
